GLUTEN FREE MUSEUM | TUMBLR

The interesting Gluten Free Museum is a Tumblr blog with a sense of humor that’s giving acclaimed artwork a dietary makeover, revealing just how many pieces are full of gluten. By removing wheat, barley, and rye from Salvador Dalí, Ridley Scott, Pieter Brueghel, and many other classic art piece and so an entirely different perspective is shown. A gluten-free painting is the irony of the artist that represent the growing market of gluten-free market products now more and more popular in super markets and markets. Fields of golden wheat become lush with greenery as the blue sky stands out in the distance. What may have started as a joke has turned into quite an interesting project that examines the presence of wheat products in art.
