Israeli artist Peddy Mergui has created a series called “Wheat is Wheat is Wheat”, where he takes everyday grocery items and reimagines how designer brands would make them. This work is currently present at SFMCD ( Museum of Craft and Design – San Francisco – Opens April 12 through June 15 ). The exhibition is a humorous yet provocative commentary on global consumer culture that may just have us questioning our next purchase.
