Russian architects Crosby Studios designed this cafe and bakery in Gorky Park, Moscow and really brings the green of its surroundings inside. The architects‘ brief was to create a space suitable for a bakery, but without seeming twee and cutesy like many other bakeries around these days. The Bulka Cafe & Bakery’s look is young, modern, and industrial, featuring exposed pipes, wooden floors, geometric shapes and graphic patterns. Colours have been kept neutral, except for classy hints of green in stools, panelling and pot-plants. We love the simplicity of the space, and we’re sure Bulka is a great spot for some coffee and cake if you’re ever in the Russian capital.
