Magic Carpet Interactive Installation

As part of the Heritage Days Casablanca from 1 to 6 April, visitors were invited to set foot “magic” of the old church of the Sacred Heart, designed and created by Miguel Chevalier.

Called “Magic Carpet 2014“, this interactive virtual installation is inspired by the “traditional Islamic art, especially mosaics and carpets,” said the French artist. “This world of colors and forms in movement invites us into the magical world of ‘Arabian nights’ and flying carpets, with music by Michel Redolfi.”

Abstract, even kaleidoscopic images, were moving under the feet of young and old came to discover this unique and magical show.
