If you’ve been in Hong Kong in the past few days, maybe you’ve seen the Kaleidome by LAAB, which has been on view in Sha Tin Park. The colourful dome is made up of over 250 polyhedral cells in stainless steel and the changing light and shadow, depending on time of day, light conditions and passers by means that the construction never looks quite the same. The work was very much appreciated in the Sha Tin community, and people of all ages were interested in the sculpture, which was part of Jockey Club Community Arts Biennale 2015.
