Another highlight for us at Milan Design Week was this temporary bar & bistrot, organised by events designer Massimo Santi, with interior design by La Centrale Interni. As you can see in the photos below, the space used was a truly fantastic ex-Drogheria (grocer’s), whose original fixtures and fittings were enhanced by charmingly mismatched furniture which created an artistic and vintage feel, and details right down to the stunning graphic design of menus and signage. All we can say is it’s a shame the bar isn’t a permanent feature in Milan, because we’d love to go for healthy food and drinks in such a stunning setting more often!
