Full of fruit trees, natural light and the fragrances of fresh produce is the Fruits and Legumes Cluster. Within this Cluster, you can find the pavilions of Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka and Zambia. Designed by Matteo Vercelloni, Massimo Ferrari and the Politecnico di Milano, the cluster is a unique space featuring orchards of fruit trees within it. The Cluster’s canopy is wooden and covers the main square, which is surrounded by the wooden pavilions. There is also a market area where visitors can see, smell, taste and purchase some of the delicious fruits and legumes, before making their way to the next space, the Spices Cluster.
