We already wrote about Sculpture by the Sea 2014 in Bondi, Australia which features sculptural work by a number of artists from all over the globe. Now we’d like to show you a little bit more of one artist in particular. Byeong Doo Moon is a South Korean sculptor whose work appeared not only at this year’s edition of Sculpture by the Sea, but also in 2011 when his striking stainless steel “cosmic elk” named I have been dreaming to be a tree won the Allens Arthur Robinson People’s Choice Prize as well as the Staff Choice award. This year, his intricate, stainless steel peacock sculpture named Our memory in your place also attracted attention for all the right reasons. You can see this and many more impressive sculptures in Sydney until the 9th November.
