Shintaro Ohata is a Japanese artist, he was born in 1975 in Hiroshima. We could define the sculptor Shintaro Ohata as modern and and impressionist. His art is particular and his works are portraits of the little things of everyday life as if they were movie scenes. Ohata captures all types of situation, from shops at night, roads, fast food at dawn, his paintings show us ordinary scenery.
The talent of his works lies in its particular technique, his works are 3d polystyrene faceted and oil paintings. His works live in front of a bottom painting that acts as a backdrop.
The result is truly amazing and somehow very romantic. The art never ceases to amaze.
