ANGULAR HOME | ATELIER TEKUTO

The architecture studio Atelier Tekuto designed an amazing piece of architecture called “R-Torso-C” that is an angular exposed concrete home located in the heart of Tokyo. Working within tight space constraints, the architects cut away at the building’s corners and installed triangular windows to create a unique geometric structure. A floating staircase spirals up through home connecting all the levels, meanwhile the geometric windows punctuate the interiors with a consistent stream of daylight. Additionally, the concrete used throughout the four-story building is completely recyclable and has been mixed with volcanic ash typically found in southern parts of Japan.AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_08 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_09 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_10 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_01 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_07 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_05 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_06 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_11 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_12 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_13 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_02 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_03 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_04 AtelierTekutoArchitecture_FeelDesain_14Don’t forget to follow Feeldesain on Twitter Facebook  + Pinterest to get all the latest updates.
