Slovakia’s pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 focuses on two ideas, variety and synergy. It aims especially to show off the variety present in Slovakia, and the different approaches and perspectives for an inspiring symbiotic coexistence between the traditional and the modern. The pavilion was designed by architect Karol Kállay and features a Recharging Zone – a relaxing outdoor area where visitors can recharge both themselves and their devices. The second zone is an Energy zone, where visitors are encouraged to discover how energy links modernity and tradition across various themes. Of course, they can also sample a range of Slovak culinary specialities in the restaurant!
