“Villa Pennisi in Musica” is an architecture and design-to-build summer school, as well as a classical music master class. Young architects are challenged in constructing an experimental acoustic shell for outdoor chamber music concerts, from small wooden laths and wooden based panels, in a time-frame of ten days. The realised pavilion will host a concert featuring,among others, world-class conductor Sir Antonio Pappano.
LEGO Building Contest is also held during the workshop to challenge students and architects imagination in order to explore new ways of designing with LEGO forms.
