Converse Rubber Tracks LIVE, in partnership with Noisey, is in Milan this week for the first time, and the closing event this Thursday night (26 November from 11pm) is not to be missed!
Converse is a brand tightly linked to the world of music, and the Rubber Tracks project intends to give something back to the industry. The project is aimed at up and coming musicians, with events all around the world allowing emerging artists to express their creativity. Since 2011, over a thousand artists have had the opportunity to record in professional studios with the help of seasoned professionals, for free. Until now, there have been events in cites like NYC, Berlin and Amsterdam, and 2015 has brought the event to Milan, where a number young musicians have the opportunity to record in famous studio Officine Meccaniche.
The live, closing event will be held at Stock at TOM in Milan and you can look forward to a performance by the (very) young star of the UK Grime scene, Novelist, as well as Funkrimini – the band selected from all the participants of the Rubber Tracks workshops – and Matteo Pit , half of ambient house duo Primitive Art.

Converse è un brand intrinsecamente legato alla musica, e il progetto Rubber Tracks vuole restituire qualcosa a questo mondo. Il progetto, per musicisti emergenti, ha portato eventi in tutto il mondo dove gli artisti hanno avuto l’opportunità di esprimere la loro creatività. Dal 2011, oltre mille artisti hanno avuto l’opportunità di registrare all’interno di studi professionali con l’aiuto di professionisti del settore, gratuitamente. Fino ad ora, gli eventi sono stati organizzati a NYC, Berlino ed Amsterdam, e nel 2015 Rubber Tracks è arrivato anche a Milano, dove giovani musicisti stanno registrando nelle note Officine Meccaniche.
L’evento di chiusura LIVE si terrà al Stock at TOM a Milano, e vi aspetta con una performance dalla stella del Grime britannico, Novelist, e anche la musica di Funkrimini – il gruppo selezionato da tutti i partecipanti ai Rubber Tracks workshop – e Matteo Pit, la metà del duo ambient house, i Primitive Art.
