Non-profit animal shelter Sydney Dogs & Cats Home felt that their communications were lacking in impact, so they enlisted the help of For The People who they hoped could inject some positivity into their interactions with the public, enabling the shelter to drive awareness about the important work that they do, and encouraging the public to adopt, support, and donate. The bold and playful communications “focused on making it easier to search, fall in love and share the animals with friends and family”. The branding also focuses on the importance of individual animals, and also allows people to make their own icons – an easily shareable feature which will hopefully get the shelter plenty of attention on social networks, too.
