From October 3-7 2018, Saudi Design Week 2018 kicks off the creative season in Riyadh with over 30 specialized talks and workshops to be delivered by local and international designers and industry experts.
Each year, Saudi Design Week is held around a theme that is relevant and impacts the local creative culture. This year, the premiere design festival tackles the topic of Sustainability in Design.
The Design Forum will start on October 4, leading up to a fun-filled and enriching weekend on October 5-6. Talks and workshops are curated by the SXD team behind #SDW2018 in cooperation with Ithra as its exclusive strategic partner; and program partners— the British Council, Embassy of France, and Embassy of Hungary.
This year’s design forum will include: Ithra, Google, MOME EcoLab-Hungary, Sustainability Design
School-France, Dovecot-UK, Tarek Atrissi Studio, Pepsi Co, and more.

Saudi Design Week has garnered media attention with an overall reach of over 147 million including mentions by social media influencers, print, radio and broadcast. It’s temporarily transforming the Kingdom’s capital of Riyadh into a dynamic platform to discuss, judge, and admire good design.
