Andrew Myers is famous for his impressive artwork made with screws, but he’s branched out into acrylic cubes as the medium for his newest piece entitled My Dealer is Not a Square. He used over a thousand hand-painted cubes, suspended using stainless steel rods to create a pixellated portrait of his art dealer, Lawrence Cantor. The piece looks abstract, but is also a pretty realistic portrait. See more from the artist on his website, or go visit the Lawrence Cantor Fine Art Gallery in Los Angeles from 17 September to see My Dealer is Not a Square in real life.
