From the digital design agency who made the ridiculously addictive (and graphically attractive) app Whale Trail, East London studio ustwo have released the teaser to their new offering, Monument Valley.
Undoubtedly inspired by mathematical Dutch graphic artist, M. C. Escher, the teaser features the familiar winding staircases and floating follies that anchored much of Escher’s work. If you had ever lead a baffled eye over his architectural illusions and wondered at their forms, the game appears to succeed at forming these 2D impossibilities into interactive 3D puzzles, bringing life and movement to the master’s work.
