If you’ve ever felt guilty about boiling a whole kettle to make one cup of tea, you are not alone. Designers Chudy and Grase have created Miito – an innovative new way to heat only the right amount of liquids.
Using an induction base and a rod which you place in your cup, bowl, or other vessel, Miito heats up the liquid you want to use, whether that be water, soup, tea or anything else. Once the liquid is boiled, Miito turns to standby, and when the rod is placed back onto the induction base without being immersed, it automatically switches off. This might just be the kettle of the future.
