As a reaction to the success of the 2009 Guimarães Jazz posters,
we tried a completely different graphical and conceptual
approach for the 2010 edition. We based the graphical decision
on the idea that Jazz could be colorful and fun, still maintaining
audacity and sensuality. As the starting conceptual idea we
thought about a story of seduction. Where you may see
personages, you can also see instruments a dialogue between
different sounds, harmonies and personalities.
To achieve this final result we counted with the collaboration
of two talented illustrators: Nebojsa Cvetkovic (characters) and
Ana Rita Goulão (lettering). As a reaction to the success of the 2009 Guimarães Jazz posters,
