Fashion Kinetic Typography – vol. 01 is a personal project by young graphic designer Luca Porracchia, where fashion photography, kinetic typography and poster design get together.
The Fashion Kinetic Typography – vol. 01 gave birth to a nine posters for three fashion houses: Bed J.W. Ford, Marcelo Burlon County of Milan and Magliano.
In Fashion Kinetic Typography Vol. 01 everything starts from pictures. All the photos were taken by photographer Simona Di Nucci during Milan Fashion Week 2019.
Below the poster from Bed J.W. Ford ‘s backstage where two models are at the centre and their faces are closed in a cube. Designer Luca Porracchia said that he enjoyed doing experiments and the cube evolution became a kind of Twisting Torso by Calatrava.
“I only used fonts by Pangram Pangram® Foundry. For Bed J.W. Ford’s posters I used Agrandir, for Marcelo Burlon – County of Milan’s posters I used Grafier and for Magliano’s posters I used Cirka” states Porracchia.
Learning and experimenting is a way to deal with different projects everyday, but also a way to merge different visual languages and techniques.
