Fred Fowler (NUROC) is a Melbourne based visual artist who has a long and esteemed history in Melbourne’s graffiti culture. He started tagging at the age of eleven and progressed to spray paint and piecing at the age of sixteen. Fred has since moved away from illegal graffiti to focus on a career in fine art. Fred has recently returned form living in Paris and is currently completing a post graduate course in visual art at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne.
He was one of the artists featured in the “Space Invaders” exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. The exhibition is now touring Australia.
