Beautiful Illustrated Map Invites You To Discover Australia
Melbourne-based art director and designer Jimmy Gleeson has created a gorgeous illustrated souvenir map of Australia that warmly invites the viewer to discover the continent down under.
Featuring beautifully detailed drawings of Australian cities, landmarks and animals, Gleeson found inspiration for this lovely piece on Google Earth and in vintage geography textbooks.
Other than being used on the map, some of the designer’s illustrations are used in a series of short introductions to the various places and creatures found in Australia.
