Last year, we showed you the Boxcar Planters by Revolution Design House, and today we bring you the Portland-based design studio’s update, the Boxcar bench. The seating unit, which is in the same style as the original planter, is intended to be used either as in interior or an exterior bench, and is a three-part piece of furniture in walnut, ash and sapele wood. The simple design is enhanced by touches of colour at the ends of each block, and there’s even space for a plant, to bring a touch of greenery.
