Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner has captured the stunning beauty of spinning paint vortexes in his new project, ‘Black Hole’.
Dabbing a modified drill with spots of wet paint, he then switches on the power tool, causing the paint to be flung violently outwards in a centrifugal motion.
Capturing the colorful images with a precisely timed camera that is equipped with a sensor-activated flash, the photographer freezes the motion of the paint in their momentary circular orbits.
