The Atlas of Beauty is the ongoing project of Romanian photographer and travel enthusiast Mihaela Noroc, who wants to capture the diverse faces of beauty from around the world, in order to show that beauty comes in many forms and to inspire women to accept their own individual beauty. The resulting portraits show a huge variety of beautiful women, each very different from the last. The first phase of the project finished at the end of 2014, and took Noroc to over 30 countries around Europe, Asia, Oceania, South, Central and Northern America. She spent a period of 16 months meeting new people, and capturing the beautiful, natural and diverse faces of the women from these nations. The second phase starts this year, and will be a 6-month trip around 15 more countries in the Balkans, Middle East, Central Asia, Nepal and India. If you’d like to support Mihaela in some way, visit her site to find out how.
