Forget all the plastic, glass and metals mobile phone companies use in their product, it’s all about bamboo! ADzero is the world’s first smartphone to be made from organic bamboo. It has a unibody shell and will come packed with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) – from what it looks in the image below. No confirmation on what actual tech we can find within the phone but if it’s running Ice Cream Sandwich rest assured it will be top-notch. The phone was designed by Kieron-Scott Woodhouse, a 23-year-old design student from the UK. It will feature a unique ring flash on the back for smoother light – something not seen in any smartphone before. No confirmation on when it will actually be released, but it looks like it will only be available in the UK and China at first. It’s made for design-centric people so it’s right up my street and most probably right up your street if you visit UltraLinx regularly.
