Controversial Anti-Smoking Outdoor Billboard Coughs When It Whiffs Fag Smoke
An out of home billboard for a quit-smoking aid has been launched in Stockholm that “coughs” when it whiffs cigarette smoke from passing smokers.
The ad for Swedish smoking aid firm Apotek Hjärtat uses embedded smoke detectors that trigger a video of a young actor coughing aggressively when a smoker passes by.
The ad was part of the pharmaceutical company’s drive to make smokers quit for the New Year.
