Italian designer Enrico Zanolla’s projects show an acute attention to shapes, colours, textiles and trends. His Basil Tryptich and Ruski+Ruski Twist lamps were inspired by the St. Basil cathedral in Moscow, where Zanolla spent some time. The different sizes and colours were inspired by symbolic meanings assigned to every dome. Zanolla claims that the shape of the lamps, which recalls the shape of a flame, also represents that “every man is the light of the world”.
