Intel’s Museum of Me is a brilliant online app that turns your Facebook profile into a virtual museum with the click of a button.
Simply authorize the Museum of Me app to access your Facebook profile and it will pull your photographs, pictures of friends you frequently interact with, your location and other data that you may have shared on Facebook and turns everything into an impressive animated movie.
This is much like taking a walking tour of a virtual museum where all the rooms and galleries display exhibits that are you own.

The Museum of Me è un’applicazione realizzata da Intel: trasforma le informazioni fornite da Facebook in una specie di museo virtuale. È sufficiente un clic per autorizzare la condivisione dei dati del social network e attendere la creazione di un filmato in tutto simile a una visita guidata in un museo. Il risultato è spettacolare.
Intel ha utilizzato Flash Player per recuperare le informazioni necessarie e personalizzare il filmato di The Museum of Me. Purtroppo, il video risultante non si può salvare e scaricare. Il testo mostrato durante la riproduzione è esclusivamente in lingua inglese. Amici, foto e aggiornamenti sono come quadri di una galleria d’arte.
L’applicazione è una variante sul tema di Social Memories, che propone invece un libro cartaceo delle informazioni prese dal profilo di Facebook. In comune con Social Memories, The Museum of Me di Intel ha la possibilità di salvare i frame del filmato come immagini per un album sul social network. Il video però non è configurabile.
