This stunning series will take you on a journey through the green Scottish hills on the Isle of Skye. Shot by Alex May, a Berlin-based photographer, on a two-week trip to the country, the photos really capture the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish countryside. May wanted to convey the remoteness and vastness of the place, and show us that Scotland is “a land so dull but somehow so bright at the same time, so rough yet so peaceful that words can barely describe this peculiar feeling”, and we certainly think he managed that.
