La casa è un box open space in cedro, foderato in compensato di acero e avvolto lungo le pareti lunghe da due schermi ondulati e perforati in acciaio inossidabile, da cui l’effetto miraggio.
Insomma, un’abitazione minimalista con la pelliccia, metallica, spiegazzata, sensibile al tempo atmosferico, capace di reagire e riflettere il flusso delle stagioni, come la pelle di un animale dei boschi.

Today we present the Salt Point House, designed by Thomas Phifer and Partners.
The house is open space in a cedar box, lined with plywood and maple wrapped along the long walls of two corrugated screens and perforated stainless steel, from which the mirage effect.
In short, minimalist house with fur, metal, wrinkled, weather-sensitive, able to react and reflect the flow of the seasons, like the skin of an animal in the woods.
