Let’s face it, some of us are really busy, some of us aren’t very good at knowing where to find what we want on the App Store, and some of us are just plain lazy. Magic is a service which can get you literally anything you want (as long as it’s not illegal) if you just tell it via SMS. Created by Plus Labs, the service involves operators who act as middlemen between you and apps which can provide the service you need, whether that be a bottle of beer, a train ticket, or a personal trainer. If you need some veggies and a couple of eggs in order to make your dinner, for example, they’ll contact Instacart who will deliver your groceries to you. The service, which is currently only available in the USA, is available 24 hours a day, and is easy to use. After you’ve provided billing info and an address, you just need to ask for what you want via text message, then confirm the charge – which includes a tip – and your request will be fulfilled, as if by magic.
