The BBC came to Weare17 with a brief full of interesting facts and circles, for a series of brand vignettes for BBC Knowledge.
I was really pleased to be involved from the start right through to final delivery, illustrating and designing motifs and concepts about the earths history and how far we have come as inventors and as the human race in general.
The animation was really fun to do. Fast paced, snappy, fluid & rhythmic.
BBC Knowledge, il canale inglese dedicato alla divulgazione scientifica continua a deliziare i nostri occhi con animazioni e infografiche che rappresentano davvero un valore aggiunto alla sua già interessante programmazione televisiva.
Questa volta si tratta di una coppia di spot che illustrano la mission e le caratteristiche editoriali del canale, realizzati dallo studio londinese Weareseventeen. Basati su figure e movimenti circolari, gli spot sfruttano un’estetica 2D, nonostante qualche passaggio in 3D ben camuffato che rende l’animazione fluida e accattivante.
