TRÜF studio reveals a new series of minimal line drawings.
After dealing with animals in FAÜNA, now it’s time for FLÖRA. The umlaut becomes a sort of trademark of the studio, and in Flöra the beauty of nature is transformed in elementary forms, inspired by the ancient tables of botany, which, on the contrary, were rich in details.
The brand studio TRÜF has crafted brands for clients ranging from Adidas to a film director, but now grabbed attention through illustrations (and it doesn’t list it as one of its services).
“We debated putting this stuff out there because of the possible confusion it might cause for potential clients and the creative community. Does it take away from our branding focus? We don’t think so. At the end of the day, creativity and art are part of our branding DNA, so we decided to not to shy away from it, ” said Adam Goldberg, TRÜF’s creative director.
The illustrations also open the studio up to other creative communities and clients who might not know who they are or what they are capable of. “Just because you’re a branding studio doesn’t mean you have to be stuck in a box doing only one thing” said Goldberg. The studio tested illustration world through social media especially Behance and Instagram.
The first experiment was made in November, 2018 with the FAÜNA project where they explore their minimalistic interpretation of the animal kingdom. A few picture below.
