It has taken 20 years of research by author and culinary academic Pushpesh Pant to collect all the over 1000 recipes that make the massive cookbook with the simple name, India Cookbook. India is a huge country with a rich culinary tradition so I can that it takes time to gather all the recipes but 20 years is impressive. And Pushpesh Pant quest hasn’t gone by unnoticed, his cookbook was recently named the best Indian cookbook in the world at the prestigious Gourmand Cookbook Awards in Paris. The cookbook was designed by Frost Design and it comes nicely packaged in a canvas bag that reminds of a sack of rice. Photos from and of the book can be found after the jump.
