No event is complete without a Sparkling Wine Sponsor, so Expo called in sparkling wine producer Franciacorta for the World Fair. Their “pavilion” is more of a wine bar, found on the main strip of Expo, which is run by Lanzani Bottega & Bistrot – keen promoters of Italian produce. Designed by the architects at the Falconi studio, the space consists of a 150 square metre outdoor seating zone and a 55 square metre covered area. Of course, the main aim of the pavilion is to encourage the public to taste various types of Franciacorta and learn more about the wine and the area in which it is produced.
