Another of Milan Expo‘s official sponsors is Nestlé, who have created the Baci Perugina pavilion. Most people who have visited Italy will be familiar with these little hazelnutty chocolates, and the pavilion has been done up to look like a box of them, complete with a giant Bacio on the top. This chocolate brand has been around for over 90 years now, and is produced on the outskirts of the city of Perugia. Visitors will be pleased to find two chocolate fountains (solar powered, of course!) and can also buy some chocolates to take home. Visitors can contribute towards future Baci by recycling their aluminium outside the pavilion – one kilo of aluminium can be turned into wrappers for over three thousand of the little sweets.
