The desert state of Qatar is very used to the struggles associated with a lack of food and water, and at Milan Expo it wants to show off how committed it is to healthy, safe, and convenient food and, above all, sustainability. The pavilion shows visitors the latest technologies which are helping the nation to reach its sustainability goals, as well as giving them a thoroughly fun experience, especially in the souq area, reminiscent of a traditional market. The rooftop garden offers visitors another pleasant area in which to relax before or after exploring the entire interactive experience offered within the pavilion.
