Angola’s pavilion, with its intricate facade, was built with the intention of creating an unforgettable experience for visitors, allowing them to experience what life is like in the west African nation, using technology and augmented reality to guarantee a truly interactive experience. The nation decided to focus on its culture and soul through its cuisine, and to educate visitors about nutrition in Angolan society. The pavilion, whose structure was inspired by the baobab tree – sacred in Angolan culture – has three floors and a terrace and is made from sustainable materials.
