The Fletcher Capstan Table expands automatically from small to large in mere seconds. It is without equal in the world in the way it performs and utterly fascinating too, having been described by one commentator as “pure magic”.
During its metamorphosis from small to large, the table amazingly doubles its seating capacity. It cleverly stores its own expansion leaves internally and operates by a simple rotation of its outer perimeter.
Before you know it the table has snapped tightly shut in an entirely different mode and appearance. It may be manual or motorised.
Whilst being entirely suitable for use ashore, the design carefully considers a harsh marine environment, and the table is made in such a way that it may actually be positioned permanently on an exposed deck.
