A bronze sculpture of a fearless girl in a defiant pose now stands just feet away from the famous bronze Charging Bull statue in New York’s financial district. The statue was made by artist Kristen Visbal and was installed on International Women’s Day morning as part of a campaign of State Street Global Advisors to pressure companies to add more women to their boards. At her feet a plaque says: “Know the power of women in leadership. SHE makes a difference”.
