We’ve already brought you two articles about how the concept of female beauty (with particular focus on hair and makeup) has changed over the last 100 years (read them here and here), but now Buzzfeed Video has created a clip showing how the perception of the perfect female figure has changed over the last three millennia. From a slim figure in Ancient Egypt to a curvier shape in the Italian Renaissance and a super-skinny frame for 1990s ‘Heroin Chic’. What’s clear from the video is that the definition of beauty is constantly changing, and what may be out of fashion today could come right back tomorrow.
