It’s rare that we come across a clock as unique as this one. This ferrofluid creation, called Rhei, is the work of Damjan Stankovic and Marko Pavlovic and uses magnets to control a mesmerising liquid display. The liquid display is constantly changing, so numbers will never appear in exactly the same way. Rhei “took a year of experimenting, building, destroying and prototyping to complete” and even won a Red Dot award in June this year.
