You can find colourful smoothies all over the internet, and you may have made some yourself, but we bet you’ve never seen anything like this. Art director Hedvig A Kushner started Pantone Smoothies as an “artsy little project seeking an answer to the question: is it possible to create tasty smoothies in any Pantone color?”. She chooses coloured paper, matches it to a Pantone swatch, then uses fruits and veggies to whizz up smoothies which match the shade, and has noticed that the process works a lot like mixing paint. Photographer Michael Kushner photographs the ingredients and the finished smoothie on the coloured paper, and all the results can be found on the Pantone Smoothies website.
