Never Grow Up

A very interesting photography project by the dutch photographer Ruadh DeLone with “Never Grow Up“, blending photos of young kids with older people resulting in a very intriguing effect. “I am working with the themes of life and death and the fact we are just here for a fragment of time, through the years we are getting older and time is moving fast. I wanted to find out what it would look like if I’d mix youth and old age and I also wanted to convey the message that one should always keep their childlike spirit alive even when we become old. The images turned out to be disturbing and haunting because one could ask one’s self the question, ‘Is this a kid or is this a man or woman of old age?’ I’m interested in finding out what this mixing effect has on viewers.”
