This weekend we went (along with 3 million other people) to Lyon for the 2014 edition of the famous Fête des Lumières, which takes place in the French city every year and costs an amazing 2.6 million euros to put on.
For the past decade, the Festival of Lights has united the people of Lyon and drawn crowds from all over the world to see the light show, which is spread all over the city and features unique designs and impressive spectacles from top artists and up-and-coming talents. This year’s offering was also fantastic, and as always we were lucky to be able to enjoy the great atmosphere in person.
If you missed it, you’ll have to wait until next December for the 2015 festival, but in the meantime you can check out some of our photos of the most impressive exhibits.
