Lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen has asked top lighting designer Paul Nulty to curate a photography exhibition called ’Design To Shape Light’, running the 10th – 26th October 2018 in the creative district of Clerkenwell, London.
The result is a selection of twenty-one dramatically different photographs by some of Europe’s most innovative architects, designers and creatives including dRMM, Iwan Baan, Jason Bruges Studio and Christian Flindt.
All photographs will be auctioned off with proceeds given to Maggie’s Barts Centre, that provides free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their families and friends. The online auction can be found here.
The PH Artichoke and the PH 5 by Louis Poulsen are celebrating six decades of transforming spaces with their thoughtful illumination and sculptural form.

Today, all three designs have iconic status in the design world, and the theme ‘Design To Shape Light’ is the underlying philosophy of the Louis Poulsen brand, which lead to the idea of exhibition theme.
“I jumped at the opportunity to work with Louis Poulsen on this project as there are so many innovative players on the A&D scene that have a great eye that goes beyond their own discipline and into the realm of light. Photography is an ideal way of expressing this, and the result is a collection of twenty very different, personal perspectives of light, and ultimately, emotions”- Paul Nulty explains.
