Baku Maeda’s Leaf Beasts transform magnolia leaves into adorable little creatures. The illustrator, who resides in Sapporo, Japan, is already well-known for his ribbon animal creations and is often inspired by Japanese comic books. For his Leaf Beasts, he simply makes small cuts in the dried magnolia leaves to make these fun, autumnal beasties.
