Gucci Spring/Summer 2013

This season’s Gucci show was all about minimalist shapes with an exotic edge. From shirt-jackets and high-neck blouses, to mini dresses with a cocoon shape or super-long tapered dresses, they came in a colour palette of sharp azalea, citrus yellow and electric blue. Bell sleeves gave volume to cocktail dresses and prints a touch of the Orient, with sea anemone and Japanese wallpaper for pajama-style outfits. The snake-style pattern was printed on tunics and pants using fibres from Japanese paper, or in exotic silk lamè jacquard-like python. There were flashes of skin through artful cutouts and patent accessories for a playful fetish vibe. Enjoy the Photogallery and the Video below.
