Italian fashion house Trussardi recently held a photoshoot with a twist–instead of human models, the brand got greyhounds to front the shoot. The unconventional photo series was a 40th anniversary tribute to the brand’s greyhound logo. American photographer William Wegman shot the dogs while Macs Iotti handled the art direction and costumes.
The dogs were photographed decked out in the latest Trussardi Spring/Summer 2014 threads which included aviator sunglasses, leather bags and python skin jackets. Elegant and stylish, the use of canine models was a great way to celebrate the brand’s history and injected some fun into an otherwise ordinary shoot.
